Julie Cmil – age 19 was recently diagnosed with mediastinal B cell non hodgkin’s lymphoma. A large tumor between her heart and lungs was found at the end on June. She is currently in her second round of six inpatient chemotherapy sessions at Roper St Francis in West Ashley.

According to Julie’s mom, Lisa, Julie Cmil is a bit shy and keeps her circle super small, but she is such a ray of light. She has such a love for animals, outdoors, drawing and helping others. She is the youngest of four. She has three older brothers. Julie was born in NC, raised in NJ and moved to Summerville, SC just last year!

Pat Campbell Sr. is a Charleston native. Diagnosed in March 2021.
Believes in the POWER of Positive Thinking! Mind Over Matter – this disease is not as strong as the man it decided to attack!
Pat Campbell and his daughter have designed 3 seperate designs to benefit Islands Against Cancer. These designs spearheaded this cause and have been showcased on our website and at our first event on Sunday, September 19th on James Island, SC.
